Why Unified, the Tampa, Florida sales and marketing platform has announced a pending acquisition of Verified Payments, a UK payment processor serving international markets which have been undergoing negotiation since early 2018 with the transaction being finalized in Q4 of 2018.

Verified Payments, a subsidiary of World Payments has been known for same-day funding for their merchant accounts, which Why Unified will introduce to Unified Workplace, their sales and marketing platform which currently has a three-day funding hold for payments processed outside the United States through the applications.
Why Unified earns from the margin of credit card fees that small business owners traditionally pay when a transaction is processed through applications such as online appointment scheduling, shopping cart, online payments, and others; this accusation supports introducing even lower credit card transaction fees to their users, competing with major payment processors.
