Text-Based Hacking Adventure "Code 7" nominated for Unity Award 2016

The text-based hacking adventure "Code 7" by German developer Goodwolf Studio has been nominated for the Unity Award 2016 as Best Student Project. The game will be showcased at the Unite '16, Indie Games Play and AdventureX.

The text-based hacking adventure Code 7 by German developer Goodwolf Studio has been nominated for the Unity Award 2016 in the category Best Student Project. The game will be showcased at this year's Unite '16 in Los Angeles, from November 1-3. All nominees can be seen ,and voted for, here:

Goodwolf Studio will also be present on the Indie Games Play 7 in Montreuil, France. Code 7 will be showcased there on October 24th and 25th. More information about the event:

Furthermore, the game can also be played on the AdventureX in London, on November 19th and 20th. More information about the event:

The game is currently on Kickstarter, where the developer aims to raise 15.000 € to fund the upcoming five episodes: The campaign runs until October 27th and is already over 60% funded.

The first part, Episode 0: Allocation, has been released for free on September 22nd. It has been nominated for several awards, such as the gamescom Indie Award 16 or the A Maze Award 2015. The game can be downloaded for PC, Mac, Linux and as a special Windows version for visually impaired players, which has recently been added:

The version for visually impaired players is still a prototype and requires testing. Goodwolf Studio is in contact with online communities and local associations to develop this version together with disabled players.

Code 7 is a fully-voiced text adventure, combining a science-fiction narrative with the use of a DOS-like computer system. Players have to hack their way through an abandoned space station to get themselves and their partner Sam out of there.

Goodwolf Studio is an independent game developer committed to creating games where the gameplay enables the player to uncover a deeper story. Its founders and members, Kevin Glaap and Zein Okko, met each other at the Cologne Game Lab where they are both pursuing their Master's degrees in Game Development and Research.
