Sunoptics SSL 9000-II LED Headlights from Endovision 2017-12-22 13:50:49
Specialised surgical company Endovision is promoting the Sunoptics Surgical SSL 9000-II LED Headlight that delivers the bright white light needed for surgical procedures. The LED light provides the surgeon with a homogenous spot for true tissue colour recognition. The battery-powered LED headlight offers the freedom from being tethered to a light source by a fibre optic cable. The RCS headband and the lightweight LED module provide stability as well as comfort.

The system includes 1 LED headlight with rear cranial support “RCS”; 1 clip-on power pack with rechargeable battery; 2 rechargeable batteries; 1 single bay battery charger; 2 garment clips and 1 padded carrying bag with shoulder strap.

Sunoptics Surgical SSL-9000-II LED Headlight delivers 70,000 LUX of bright white light needed for surgical procedures. Clean equipment is not an option, but crucial when choosing a surgical headlight. The headlights must be wiped after every case to ensure safety of the next patient and theatre staff. Disinfection and sterilisation awareness amongst all medical personnel involved in surgeries play a crucial role in making sure patients are safe. The right surgical headlight and an adequate cleaning routine by surgical technicians, surgeons and theatre staff is essential to ensure the safety of every patient. A simple headlight, preferably light in colour, is ideal for easy cleaning and quick visual inspection every time. Complex headlight designs render this task more difficult as cleaning is hard.

The SSL-9000-II LED Headlight is lightweight and comfortable. The 10w LED offers the brightest illumination available. The lightweight battery and clip on holster provide 2hr 30 min (at full light intensity) of continuous use. If the light is turned down a quarter turn the battery should last approximately 4 hours. It gives an audible warning when battery life is low.

Endovision has been a leading support to the medical industry with their range of products like LED Headlights, High Definition Video Headlights, Xenon Lamps and other niche products. Endovision’s range of headlights are simple, light weight and comfortable for long surgeries. Their features deliver precision and focus to surgeons who need best illumination and easy to use and keep clean at the same time.
