New York, NY – November 27,, 2017 – Casting young and aspiring designers from around the world, Queen on 34th aims to create a global network that will provide a platform for the next generation of diverse fashion designers to showcase their talents. The show was created by Executive Producer Antonne M. Jones who will work in conjunction with Panorama Films (Keeping Up With the Kardashians, America’s Next Top Model) in Italy.
Jones, bestselling author and publisher turned television producer, hopes that the show will affect change against the lack of diversity within the fashion industry
“My idea was to create a show that includes everyone regardless of race, color, religion, status or disability. So much of the industry is exclusive but I want to help change that with Queen on 34th by creating content that properly reflects society,” Jones explained.
In order to obtain their goal, Jones and his team recently launched a crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo.com that will allow them to maintain creative control throughout the casting and production process.
Filming will begin later in January of next year at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan and Jones is currently in talks with several major television networks in the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
The campaign can be viewed via the following link:
