The Central Region of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is hosting a Networking Luncheon for entrepreneurs and business owners from 11:30am to 1:30pm on October 3 at Ecco Bistro, 458 Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, New Jersey 08873. The speaker is Alessandra Corso, a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith Inc., Princeton. Her presentation, “Investing in Your Child’s Future—Ways to Pursue Your Education Planning Goals,” will explain why integrating education planning into your overall financial strategy makes sense. For those who want to fund their children’s or grandchildren’s education, the key to developing an education funding strategy is to understand the options available.

There will be plenty of time to exchange business cards and enjoy networking over lunch. Register online by 10/1/17 at www.njawbo.org/event/CentralRegion2017-10-3. The event fee is $30 for NJAWBO members and $40 for others who register in advance, and $45 (check or cash) for all at the door.

NJAWBO hosts monthly networking events in each of its six regions. The Central Region is generally comprised of business owners from Somerset, Hunterdon, and Mercer Counties. The region’s events are open to members and other entrepreneurs and business owners from across the state. For more information about this event, contact Silvia Papini, 908-342-1550, silvia.papini@doc-events.com.

NJAWBO provides women business owners the opportunity to develop as leaders while serving on committees and boards, interacting with business owners at region and state levels, and ultimately putting their well-honed leadership skills to use in their businesses as well as within the organization.

Founded in 1978, the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is the longest-standing, statewide organization of women business owners in New Jersey. Its primary objective is to encourage and support business ownership by women, provide a legislative voice for the interests of women-owned businesses, and offer leadership, professional development, and networking opportunities for business owners.
