The Central Region of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is hosting a Networking Luncheon for entrepreneurs and business owners from 11:30am to 1:30pm on August 1 at Ecco Bistro, 458 Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, New Jersey 08873. The speaker is Jill Cooley, a financial advisor with Prudential in East Hanover. Her presentation, “Roadmap to Retirement,” will focus on what should be considered in planning for retirement and the challenges one may encounter along the way, such as the possibility of outliving your savings, rising costs, and market uncertainty. Knowing what’s on the road ahead can help you prepare for these challenges.
There will be plenty of time to exchange business cards and enjoy networking over lunch. Register online by 7/30/17 at www.njawbo.org/event/CentralRegion2017-8-1. The event fee is $30 for NJAWBO members and $40 for others who register in advance, and $45 (check or cash) for all at the door.
NJAWBO hosts monthly networking events in each of its six regions. The Central Region is generally comprised of business owners from Somerset, Hunterdon, and Mercer Counties. The region’s events are open to members and other entrepreneurs and business owners from across the state. For more information about this event, contact Silvia Papini, 908-342-1550, firstname.lastname@example.org
NJAWBO provides women business owners the opportunity to develop as leaders while serving on committees and boards, interacting with business owners at region and state levels, and ultimately putting their well-honed leadership skills to use in their businesses as well as within the organization.
The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is the longest-standing, statewide organization of women business owners in New Jersey. Its primary objective is to encourage and support business ownership by women, provide a legislative voice for the interests of women-owned businesses, and offer leadership, professional development, and networking opportunities for business owners. Since 1978, NJAWBO has helped women achieve their business visions by providing them with the tools to develop and grow their enterprises.
