Niu Gu has no freezer and only 2 small one door refrigerators. All product used by Niu Gu is of the highest quality so becaus of that and limited storage space, suplies are very limited. For this, reservations are strongly recommended. Seafood arrives at 5 PM each day and i alive. Chef Li's sources the best meats, vegetables, aged vinegars and incorporates fresh herb and spices, many sent to him from his native homeland of China. Almost all of Niu Gu's food is organic and we use nothing GMO
Foodiehub.tv reports “Li dazzles with his soups, short ribs, rack of lamb and lobster salad, but his spoon-tender tongue – with a fiery XO sauce- is offal eating at its best. His poached oyster, swimming in sweet-pungent garlic broth, is nothing to sneeze at either. Put them all together and you have an upscale Chinese restaurant with decidedly downscale prices – and one that is soon to start showing up on all kinds of “best of” lists.”

Niu-Gu Restaurant is known for its modern interpretation of classic Chinese dishes. Sourcing only high quality fresh ingredients & farm to cup teas
Niu Gu serves all teas to its guests in the traditional gongfu tea ceremony or kung fu tea ceremony (Chinese: 工夫茶 sometimes referred to as Chinese: 功夫茶), a Chinese tea ceremony involving the ritualized preparation and presentation of tea. It is probably based on the tea preparation approaches originated in Fujian and the Chaoshan area of eastern Guangdong.
