Childreach International – Join Us on a Himalayan Adventure

‘It’s not the mountain we conquer but ourselves.’

(Edmund Hilary).

If you fancy doing something different next year, Childreach International can have you scaling new heights with one of our exciting challenges. Every day we have people all over the UK signing up for our activities, which include a unique adventure to the Himalayas.

Our mountain climbing challenges can take you to either the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro or a base camp on Mount Everest: one of the giants in the beautiful mountain chain of the Himalayas. The Himalayas cover approximately 1,500 miles, spanning India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Bhutan and Nepal. Here you’ll find Mount Everest: standing at an incredible 29,029 feet (8,848m) it is the point at which the Earth’s surface reaches the greatest distance above sea level.

But don’t worry- with our Mount Everest expedition you won’t need to reach the top. With our trek, you’ll be reaching a Base Camp at 5,545m, which is still an astounding achievement for any climber. However, with Kilimanjaro we can take you right to the summit.

With Childreach International, you can head on our Himalaya adventure Expedition Everest, which will test those limits and help you reach new heights in 2018.

You’ll not only scales heights, climbing up to 5,545m, you will experience the rich delights of Nepalese culture. You can also see exactly where the money raised is going, with a visit to one of our newest projects.

This trip takes place over 22 days and is suitable for everyone who is in good health and ready for a challenge. It is especially brilliant for students, who can enjoy a discounted registration fee. You will also receive the support of our travel provider Rare Adventures throughout your trip.

Childreach International - British 10K Run

100,000cms, 10,000metres, 10kilometres, 6.2 miles. That’s what it takes to help people around the world with our team at Childreach International. By taking part in the British 10k run, you can help children by raising money for them.

The British 10k takes part in London, passing iconic landmarks like Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Regent Street and Westminster Bridge. Without thousands supporting you on your run, you’ll be supported the whole way around London.

Every journey starts with that first step, and you can build up your motivation by raising money for our charity. When you decide to pay the £10 registration fee, you will then be able to raise money under our charity.

You’ll receive with your registration fee:

Complimentary running vest to run your 10k in.

Continuous support from our team throughout your training.

Childreach Fundraising Pack: this includes tips to maximise your fundraising adventure and training tips to move through the distances to 10k.

You can then use Childreach Runners Facebook page to meet runners like you and share your stories to everyone.

On July 9 at 9am, the British 10k run will slalom its way through London in front of thousands of people. To stake your claim and raise money for charity, register today. To find out more about what we do, get in touch with us.
