BRACKNELL, United Kingdom, Dec. 21, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PaperCut, a global print management software company, today announced their expansion within the United Kingdom (UK) to ensure its EMEA customers continue to receive the high-quality service and business agility that PaperCut is known for. The organization currently has over 19,000 customers in EMEA, which contribute to more than 40 percent of the company's revenue. To address the company's increasing customer base within the region, PaperCut has established an office located in Bracknell, England, which will allow the company to provide consistent, high-quality support across local time zones, languages and geographies.
Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, the Bracknell office joins Papercut as its third global location, following PaperCut's expansion in the U.S. with an office space in Portland, Oregon, which opened May 2017. The UK has proven to be a market with excellent growth opportunity for PaperCut, and is the first of multiple cities in Europe where the company plans to expand its presence. Since April 2017, the company has hired more than a dozen industry and technology specialists to ensure the office is well-staffed with experts in the field.
The most recent hires to the Bracknell office include former Nuance Communications, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Dell managers, who bring experience in strategic leadership, channel management, professional services and regional support. "The EMEA region represents an important part of PaperCut's future-in fact, many companies across the region have helped us innovate and shape our products," said Chris Dance, co-founder and CEO of PaperCut. "It's our responsibility and philosophy to continue to foster and build upon those relationships through delivery. That's why we're proud to continue to invest local resources and expertise in the UK to help deliver personalized and quality service that our customers and partners require."
As part of the establishment of the UK office, employees contribute to a variety of unique departments and functions of operation and support, including:
"At PaperCut, our employees are responsible for providing high-quality, unique customer and partner service," Steve Holmes, EMEA site lead and channel director. "Our first priority is to contribute value to our customers and channel partners in the region, while simultaneously growing PaperCut's global presence. We're already seeing the impact that the local team is having with our continued expansion and overall momentum in the UK and throughout Europe."
Located 34 miles west of central London, the Bracknell office initiates PaperCut's plans for continued expansion to ensure comprehensive coverage of the vast Europe, Middle East and African regions. The 105 square meter office offers a temporary workspace for the UK employees while a more permanent location is being finalized, which is projected to open in Q2 2018.
Looking forward, PaperCut plans to hire an additional Channel Manager and Key Account Manager before the end of 2017.
