One of the interesting findings was that, although there are several types of POS devices available in India, including portable, countertop, mPOS, PIN Pad and Multimedia, the highest growth was seen within the portable POS terminal segment, owing its widespread ultilisation across a wide variety of end user markets including hospitality, government and retail.

This was of particular interest to Firemane, as an organisation that specialises in the bulk purchasing of POS equipment, buying, selling, refurbishing and brokering terminal purchases between resellers, distributors and end users around the globe.
