Creative Bioarray, a global leader in the manufacturing of research-use cells including primary cells, tumor cells, stem cells and transformed cells, etc., today launched its newly updated cDNA Sample to life science community. This product can be used in gene expression and cloning studies, gene mutation analysis, analysis of mRNA alternative splicing and other molecular biology fields.

The ability to synthesize DNA from an RNA template, via reverse transcription, enables researchers to study RNA with the same molecular approaches used for DNA investigations. cDNA generated by reverse transcription can be amplified using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The combination of reverse transcription and PCR (RT-PCR) allows the detection of low abundance RNAs in a sample. Geoffrey M. Cooper, associate dean of the natural sciences and professor of biology at Boston University, explained cDNA in his The Cell.

Creative Bioarray's cDNA is synthesized from a highly pure and intact total RNA. The newest additions include products such as Skin Fibroblast cDNA(TM: www.creative-bioarray.com/Skin-Fibroblast-cDNA-TM-CSC-CD-TM-item ..), Skin Fibroblast cDNA (PD), Skin Fibroblast cDNA (Neurofibromatosis), Bone Marrow Stromal Cell cDNA(Diabetes Type II: www.creative-bioarray.com/Bone-Marrow-Stromal-Cell-cDNA-Diabetes ..), just to name a few.

"By supplying the cDNA sample to biologists, we're hoping to further support the development of the life sciences community," stated Sherry W. Corchado, Executive Director of Marketing at Creative Bioarray. "In addition, at Creative Bioarray customers have access to the latest, high quality analytical instruments and discovery tools, enabling them to take their research further and faster -- while saving their cost"

"All products are validated under strict quality assurance and control parameters, providing customers with reliable, quality products for reproducible results with maximum impact." said Dr. Hannah Cole, the senior scientific officer of R&D department of Creative Bioarray.
