Creative Bioarray's New cDNA Sample Enables Deeper Insights into Biological Research

Creative Bioarray, a global leader in the manufacturing of research-use cells including primary cells, tumor cells, stem cells and transformed cells, etc., today launched its newly updated cDNA Sample to life science community. This product can be used in gene expression and cloning studies, gene mutation analysis, analysis of mRNA alternative splicing and other molecular biology fields.

The ability to synthesize DNA from an RNA template, via reverse transcription, enables researchers to study RNA with the same molecular approaches used for DNA investigations. cDNA generated by reverse transcription can be amplified using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The combination of reverse transcription and PCR (RT-PCR) allows the detection of low abundance RNAs in a sample. Geoffrey M. Cooper, associate dean of the natural sciences and professor of biology at Boston University, explained cDNA in his The Cell.
