Citibank would like to alert the public to a phishing email purportedly sent from Citibank with a sender email address firstname.lastname@example.org <email@example.com> and a hyperlink to a website with URL: http://ow.ly/1UxV309SeF3.
Citibank reaffirms that it has not sent these emails to its clients and has no connection with this unauthorized email. Citibank also reminds the public be alert of any e-mail that contains an embedded hyperlink or a request to enter personal information.
