JP International School located at sector Omega 1 , has achieved another milestone in their endeavor to inculcate and develop innovation as an outlook in its young learners as JPIS will see the ATAL TINKERING LAB now at their Campus. The lab activities are designed to spur the spark of creativity and go beyond regular curriculum and textbook learning. The labs will let students explore skills of future such as design and computational thinking, adaptive learning and artificial intelligence.

Noida; JP International School located at sector Omega 1, has achieved another milestone in their endeavor to inculcate and develop innovation as an outlook in its young learners as JPIS steps into the noble mission of knowledge enhancement under the aegis of the Atal Innovative Mission of Government’s Niti Aayog, the Atal Tinkering Lab l was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri Anurag Tripathi (IRPS) Secretary , CBSE along with Dr. Rintu Nath , Scientist , Vigyan Prasar in the presence of Chairman Mr. Roshan Agarwal, President Mr. Arun Kedia, Vice President Mr. Amit Saxena , Principal Ms Heema Sharma along with HMS , many sr. faculty members and students.
It was indeed a proud moment as JPIS , was selected for Atal Tinkering Lab, by NITI AAYOG which would contain educational and “ Do it yourself “ kits and equipment on – science, electronics, robotics, open source microcontroller boards, Sensors, and 3D printers etc.
During the inauguration, the young innovators from the school exhibited various innovative projects and explained it’s functioning with élan’. All these emphasized skill development through ‘Hands on Learning Methodology’.
Shri Anurag Tripathi, Secretary, CBSE, congratulated JPIS and interacted with the students and asked them to keep innovating and play a constructive role in nation building. He said, “Heartiest congratulations to JPIS and this will surely support young and talented students of JPIS to shape their curiosity, creativity, adaptive learning and physical computing to understand the basic concept of STEM along with the hands-on experiments with the help of various tool and equipment required” .
Dr Rintu Nath , a scientist at Vigyan Prasar said “ The school is really making all sincere efforts to create innovators for a skilled India and now from Class VI-XII will benefit from having ATL at school and we shall be happy to work closely with the school team to further it”.
Mr. Roshan Agarwal thanked NITI AAYOG for selecting JPIS and said: “The lab is designed to inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning etc and hopefully learnings from here will place our students at par with world’s best”.
Principal, Ms Heema Sharma, said: “We had these facilities at our school much earlier, however, having ATL will add more to existing FAB labs would provide a bigger platform to tinker, collaborate and showcase the scientific bent of mind of our children”.
Mr. Arun Kedia President, expressed his happiness and wished a good luck to all students and faculty and urged them to use it as much as possible to achieve greater success.
Vice President Mr. Amit Saxena said “It is a step towards path to excellence and ATL lab would teach our students essential 21st-century skills which will help them in developing their professional and personal skills”.
On his occasion all the dignitaries present also released The 13th edition of the annual magazine VISION which is beautiful compilation of the articles contributed by the students and activities took place in 2107-18 session . Mr Tripathi was full of praise of VISION and congratulated the school for yet another milestone and said “ it’s so beautiful to see that JPIS is paying Equal attention of intellect and innovation which is a rare combination and ask the students to keep the momentum up and take full advantage of the opportunities given by the school “
Students also presented a cultural program in the honour of the dignitaries which was appreciated by one an all presented out there .
