The Supervisory Board of Ziggo is pleased to announce that it intends to appoint
René Obermann as the new CEO of Ziggo effective 1st of January 2014.  René
Obermann is currently CEO of Deutsche Telekom AG. This planned transition
coincides with the previously disclosed retirement of the current CEO, Bernard
Dijkhuizen in January 2014, and assures continued strong leadership of Ziggo in
future.

For information purposes the intended appointment will be put on the agenda of
the upcoming Annual General Meeting of shareholders of Ziggo, which will take

give advice in respect of the intended appointment of René Obermann.
