WRVS supporting National Grandparents day on 5 October National Grandparents Day is a national event celebrating the important role grandparents play in society and forms part of a week-long celebration celebrating older people which started on the 1 October with Older People's Day.
To help dispel the traditional stereotype of older people, Chessington World of Adventures and Zoo are calling on all budding grandad-olescents and gritty grannies to put
down their pipes and knitting at home and to celebrating National Grandparents Day with them on 5 October by offering free entry to the first 100 grandparents who visit the Park with a full-paying child (under 12). See their website for full terms and conditions.
Here's an example of the shocking behaviour expected from grandparents who visit the park, visit www.chessington.com/grandparentsday
Have a Happy Grandparent Day
