at the Saudi German Hospital – Dubai. The children, born prematurely, are currently at the hospital’s neonatal unit and are in a stable condition. The children were conceived naturally after five years of marriage.
Dr. Khaled Kouteich, Consultant OB-Gynecologist – Saudi German Hospital Dubai, who delivered the children said, “During the course of Ranim’s pregnancy she faced several complications, mainly due to the multiple fetuses she was carrying. Although Ranim’s condition was highly complex and challenging, Saudi German Hospital-Dubai was confident of successfully delivering the children. Interestingly, we were in for a pleasant surprise during the caesarean section. All the previous ultrasound scans only showed four fetuses, but during the operation we were delighted to find a fifth
baby. The mother and babies are recovering well, and we will be offering all possible support to the family during their stay at the hospital.”
