Pune, 27th Nov: Singapore headquartered Wiztango, announced a technology collaboration with Pune based SEED Infotech, a leading solution provider in Information Technology Training to bring the power of social and informal learning to all its students across its wide network of more than 45 branches spread across India.
The technology collaboration was initiated in Pune today by Wiztango’s Chief Social Learner, PJ (Prashant Jain) and Narendra Barhate, MD and CEO, SEED Infotech. Also present from Wiztango were it’s Pune technology centre representatives CTO, Vipul Kumar & Product Head, Afsar Shaikh. Present from SEED Infotech were Anant Varade, VP, Corporate Services

Speaking on the collaboration, Narendra Barhate said, “SEED will continue to pioneer the latest technology trends in learning methodologies to help empower each of our learners in achieving their ambitions” In the near future, with Wiztango, SEED looks to scale its digital presence by building a social learning network around its students and training classes as well as to re-engage with its close to half a million alumni through online refresher programs.
At the occasion, PJ said, “the learning revolution has begun and we are excited that one of India’s largest and well known IT training companies shares our vision and commitment to transform training into a learner driven model.” PJ went on to highlight a quote from Deloitte’ recent publication, The Corporate Learning Factbook 2013 Benchmarks, Trends, and analysis of the US Training market which states that the “Spend by US companies on Social Learning tools and services have seen an impressive 39% jump in the past year.” Deloitte’ benchmarking study goes on to predict that “Evolution to informal learning will be of a similar magnitude as the switch to e-learning that began over a decade ago”.
