GET INTO WINE is a just released, educational DVD aimed at newbie wine enthusiasts and those wine aficionados who want to refresh their knowledge on the fundamentals of great wine. Host, Chef Andrew Turner, tackles wine basics in a manner that will put viewers of all wine knowledge levels at ease. Chef Andrew's background as a classically trained chef is enhanced by his casual and friendly approach to wine and sets this educational experience apart from any other on the market. GET INTO WINE was created specifically to educate people while removing any stumbling blocks that may be encountered when learning about wine. 'Sometimes people are intimidated not only by their lack of basic knowledge but also the vernacular, food pairings and social etiquette that come with the world of wine,' states Brett Eichenberger of Better View Productions, director of GET INTO WINE.
Filmed in HD and set to the original music of San Francisco musician Durojaiye, GET INTO WINE is broken into nine easy to follow segments and has a running time of 67 minutes. The program takes the viewer to Northern California's wine country, Oregon's Dundee Hills, and stores and wine bars of Portland, OR and San Francisco, CA.
Better View Productions is based in Scottsdale, Arizona and specializes in educational DVDs that are self-guided and self-paced by the viewer. GET INTO WINE was produced by Jill Remensnyder and directed by award-winning Portland, Oregon director Brett Eichenberger.
Chef Andrew Turner currently manages the Ponzi Wine Bar in Dundee, Oregon. In addition to these responsibilities, Andrew is host of Northwest Bounty, a food and wine pairing show. Andrew's culinary career spans the nation and the world and includes tenures in Los Angeles, Napa, Manhattan and Monaco.
