"Billy" Gridley has joined the firm as a member and Chief Financial Officer and has made an investment in the company. Founded in 2004 by Allen
B. Wright and funded by the late Gary Comer, the founder of Lands End, GRT is an early-stage company dedicated to the vision that air-capture, a concept theorized and refined over time by Dr. Klaus Lackner, is a critical and feasible technology for carbon dioxide management and climate change mitigation.

Billy Gridley, who is a veteran Wall Street arbitrageur and a clean technology investor, observed about GRT, "The time to develop carbon capture competencies is now. Gridley holds a B.A. in Asian Studies from Yale University and a M.P.A. in Environmental Science & Policy from Columbia University. Gridley has 25 years of experience operating and managing financial investment businesses in New York and London. He was a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs & Co and a Partner of Spear Leeds & Kellogg where he ran the firm's Proprietary Trading division. Currently he is the Managing Member of Benedict Partners, LLC, a private investment firm dedicated to energy and environmental investing. He chairs the Finance & Investment Committee of School Year Abroad, a private secondary school, and is the Treasurer of the Great Mountain Forest Corporation, a private operating foundation and working Legacy Forest.
