www.w-z.com/ - Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, Inc. (WZ), a world leader in interview and interrogation training services for federal agencies, law enforcement organizations and private corporations, announced today the launch of its new course Gang Investigation - Identify, Interview and Interrogate, also known as Gang Investigation "Triple I". This course further expands WZ's portfolio of non-confrontational training

courses, which also includes Criminal Interview and Interrogation, Interviewing for Child Abuse Cases and D.O.A. Death Investigations.

Designed for the detective, patrol officer and special agent, this new 3-day course provides instruction in gang identification and investigation, and focuses on the skills necessary to conduct field interviews with victims, witnesses, informants and suspects.

"Backed by the latest research in behavior, psychology and law, WZ's Gang Investigation 'Triple I' includes a valuable segment that explains the mind-set of a gang member and identifies investigative strategies that have proven successful in developing cases for criminal prosecution," said Shane Sturman CFI(R), president of Wicklander-Zulawski.

In addition to gangology, the course addresses the link between gang activity and terrorism as well as current and future trends - key issues that will benefit any officer, regardless of assignment or years of experience.

"Through the powerful techniques of non-confrontational interrogation, law enforcement officers can effectively and legally obtain confessions from streetwise gang members," added Sturman, president of Wicklander-Zulawski. "This extensive course demonstrates techniques that law enforcement agencies can use to obtain admissions and counteract gang violence and drug activity."

Other instructional topics include dealing with violent crimes, search techniques, developing and handling informants and much more to improve investigative skills using "real world" scenarios.
