As of December 31, 2007, TriZetto had 78 implementations
of the Facets platform at payer customers comprising approximately 84 million member lives under contract.
The Facets application implementation, including the Workflow and eXtended Integration (FXI) modules, will be conducted over the coming months.
Western & Southern is the most recent TriZetto customer to upgrade from the legacy mainframe ClaimFacts application to the flagship Facets system for its functionality, business flexibility and extensible SOA-enabled technology. The ODS Companies, an independent Oregon corporation that provides medical and dental plans for employers and individuals, is concluding its successful migration from the ClaimFacts product to TriZetto's Facets application.
"We're in the final phase of the migration for our more than 800,000 members, and the upgrade has gone smoothly and with minimal disruption to operations and customer service," reported Sue Hansen, ODS's chief information officer.
Western & Southern, a diversified financial services company that provides insurance, retirement planning and investment products and services, anticipates a similarly transparent process.
"Members will notice not the transition but our enhanced ability to serve them," said Clint Gibler, chief information officer of Western & Southern. "For instance, TriZetto's Facets system will allow us to more easily configure health benefits that specifically support Western & Southern's valued associates."
Some 20,000 of Western & Southern's approximately 50,000 health plan members are its own employees and their families.

"For instance, the Facets system will ease the adjudication of claims, the Worklow module will automate and accelerate core administrative tasks involving multiple departments, and the FXI component will enable interfaces with a host of third-party systems, such as customer relationship management applications."
