Positive signs of the economic recovery seem to have touched the Fort Bend County area as Weaver, Davis & Jacob (WDJ) Realty Group : 
, a full-service commercial real estate company specializing in mixed-use property development, announced today it had closed more than 27,000 square feet in lease space in September and October alone.
“After months of little or
no leasing activity in the market, I think we’re seeing tangible signs of recovery in the retail sector of commercial real estate,” said G. Peter Jacob, principal at WDJ Realty Group :

at Houston, leased 8,882 square feet with plans to expand to 24,000 square feet at Sienna Village in Missouri City, TX. Jacob said that six additional tenants have signed lease agreements in Sienna Village.
- Primarily Kids Pediatric Dentistry, a dental clinic specializing in dental care for children, leased 3,168 square feet.
- Sports Clips :
, a hair salon specializing in men’s and boys’ hair care, signed a lease for 1,216 square feet.
- Verizon Wireless :
, which offers a mobile phone showroom and service center, leased 1,216 square feet.
- Which Wich :
, a quick-service sandwich shop, leased 1,694 square feet.
- Milagro Hair and Spa, a full-service hair salon and spa for men and women, leased 1,859 square feet.
- Whataburger :
, a quick-service restaurant, will open a new restaurant at a pad site with a State Highway 6 frontage near Sienna Village in first quarter 2010.

- Global Craft Imports :
