Tokyo, Aug 22, 2008 - (JCN Newswire) - The Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization (JIDPO) opened GOOD DESIGN EXPO 2008 on August 22.

GOOD DESIGN EXPO 2008, one of Asia's biggest design events, includes an exhibition of Good Design Award nominees, and Design Communication booths featuring works from business design initiatives and students of design throughout Japan. In addition, presentations
and talk shows take place on a specially installed stage. GOOD DESIGN EXPO has proved popular every year, as it enables a wide range of visitors to get to know design, through programs that give a real sense of designers' presence in a variety of fields. The programs feature all kinds of products from businesses and designers in Japan and overseas, architectural designs from throughout Japan, designs used in advertising and communications, and futuristic design suggestions.
This year, it is estimated that 40,000 people will visit GOOD DESIGN EXPO 2008.
