2008-09-16 10:56:18 - Vicorp is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Leathem as their Principal Consultant. Caroline has joined the award-winning Professional Services team and will be responsible for leading their VUI (Voice User Interface) and Business Consulting practice.

With 12 years of working in the speech industry Caroline is bringing a wealth of experience to Vicorp. "We're delighted to welcome Caroline to Vicorp," says Linda McCormack, Director of Professional Services at Vicorp. "Her expertise and knowledge of the industry is a great asset to the team and will broaden our service offering to our customers."

Caroline has spent the

past year as an independent consultant working with customers in the UK, US, Europe and Africa. Prior to that she was Head of Consulting at Fluency where she led engagements across the UK and US for customers such as Eon, Orange, Reuters and Circuit City. She has a BA Hons in Linguistics from Manchester University and an MSc in Speech and Language Processing from Edinburgh University. She is passionate about the caller experience and is committed to providing independent expertise to customers at all stages in a speech solution life cycle.
