(OTCBB: VTKT), an international environmental technologies company, announced today that Scott Saroff has joined the Company as Vice President of Business Development and Field Services. A contaminant Hydrogeologist with specialties in fate/transport of contamination in groundwater, innovative remedial technologies, and hazardous waste site closure, Mr. Saroff brings to VeruTEK more than 26 years of geological and
environmental (utility, industrial, and government) and environmental remediation experience.
Mr. Saroff comes to VeruTEK from CH2M Hill, a global leader in full-service engineering, consulting, construction, and operations, where he served as the Northeast Region Site Management Practice Lead and Principal Technologist/Technical Director and Global Subject Matter Expert for petroleum and manufactured gas plant site remediation.
During his professional career Mr. Saroff has served as a remediation manager for petroleum spill cleanups; an environmental enforcement scientist for the NY State Attorney General's Office; a Geology Group Manager for USEPA's REAC Superfund Program; a Principal Hydrogeologist/Division Manager for a national environmental engineering company; and a Regional Remediation and National MGP Program Manager for a national environmental engineering company.
Mr. Saroff's duties at VeruTEK will include the sales and marketing of VeruTEK's products and services in the environmental market worldwide; the implementation of VeruTEK's remediation technologies in the field; and contributing to the design of new remedial technologies and chemical delivery systems.
