Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies is the leading supplier of standard pharmaceutical water systems, like QUATTRO®, ORION® and POLARIS but, until now, storage and distribution systems have been custom designed for each application, with long engineering lead times and validation procedures. NEXUS changes all that.
NEXUS is a range of standard, packaged, pre-validated distribution systems for Purified Water and Water for
Injection for flow rates up to 30m3/h (132 USgpm). Each package is complete with an inverter driven pump, ASME BPE pipework, double tube sheet heat exchanger and control panel. The hygienic design and fabrication in 316L stainless steel are fully compliant with GAMP, ISPE, cGMP and FDA requirements. Standard instrumentation consists of conductivity monitoring, temperature control and a loop return flow meter with options for TOC and ozone monitoring.
NEXUS offers a choice of sanitisation methods by either using electrolytically generated ozone with UV ozone destruction, or hot water at 85°C/185°F (121°C/249°F for WFI). The control panel interface allows the sanitisation history record to be maintained and there is also an optional Ethernet connection.
Every NEXUS is supplied with a full validation pack, including Functional Design Specification, Design Qualification, Installation Qualification and Factory Acceptance Test documentation. NEXUS is also available with optional 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
The NEXUS skid-mounted packaged approach reduces lead times and speeds up installation and start-up. That means shorter project completion times, reduced costs and improved risk management.
It's not even necessary for customers to buy NEXUS. Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies offers All-in-Pack®, a leasing package which provides a complete commercial and technical solution, including; equipment supply, installation and system maintenance without a large initial capital investment.
