2013-09-25 06:57:16 - A look at which college football teams have done the best and worst thus far in the 2013 season when it comes to the Las Vegas betting line and total
After the first four weeks of the college football season, there are five schools that have done the best against the Las Vegas betting line, according to the website Vegasexperts.com, while eight teams have done the worst when it comes to sports handicapping.
The Oregon Ducks and Wisconsin Badgers have beaten the pointspread in each of their four games in 2013. Immediately behind them are three schools that have won three of four in that same category: Syracuse, Texas Tech and Utah State.
The website also notes that Florida International and New Mexico State have failed to beat the pointspread in all four of its games, while the California Golden Bears have an 0-3 record in that same group. Five schools have
beaten the betting line just once in four games: Arkansas, Idaho, Kent State, Louisiana Tech and Purdue.
Six of the above schools have been among the best at going over the listed total, led by New Mexico State at 4-0. Three schools, led by Louisiana Tech at 4-0, have been the best at having games go below that listed number.
Week five of the college football gets underway on Thursday evening with two games: Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech and Iowa State at Tulsa. Two more games will take on place on Friday before a full slate of games on Saturday.
