Holiday gift-giving doesn't have to be stressful if traced to the heart of the matter according to a poet's holiday advice.

Flight author Vanna Bonta has a no strings theory when it comes to holiday gift giving and receiving. The poetic cameo actress and quantum fiction novelist donated a personal performance to a CD compilation of Holiday Magic music and stories going to cheer thousands of children confined to hospitals this holiday.

Bonta was also found casually entertaining inside friends

with personal recordings on myspace, and one little Bonta story had a gift of advice regarding the holiday stress surrounding gifts. Putting it simply, the golden-locked poet says, "Gifts have ribbons, not strings."

This time of year, people get tied up in knots over protocol, coercion and demands that complicate gift-giving. The minute it has any strings, according to Bonta, it's not a gift.

Anyone grumbling about gifts, either giving or getting, needs to put a bow on it. Or not...Bonta's no strings theory says gifts come from the heart or aren't gifts at all.
