Designer shoe store Mia has donated over £700 worth of designer shoes for Heels 2 Help Heal Designer shoe store Mia has given its backing to the charity event Heels 2 Help Heal by donating over £700 worth of designer shoes.
The two pairs of shoes will be among those auctioned at the women-only event in aid of Round Table Children’s Wish on Wednesday November 18 in the Oceanarium in Bournemouth.
Mia, which is based in Westover Road, has
also promised to give customers a 10% discount on shoes or handbags bought from its stall on the night and will give a further 10% from each sale to Round Table Children’s Wish.
Toni de Angelis of Mia, said: “Round Table Children’s Wish is an amazing charity and we’re delighted to be helping. We’ve donated shoes which have been signed by Frank Lampard – they retail at £350 and were designed by Alessandro Dell‘Acqua (an Italian designer on the same parallel as Armani and Versace). They’re beige strappy leather sandals with a high platform heel.”
Another pair of shoes, valued at over £350, is also being donated.
The Echo-backed Heels to Help Heal includes a shoe auction and sale, a fashion show, entertainment and stalls selling bags, gifts, chocolates and much more. Tickets cost £5 and include bubbly and canapés.
The charity, which grants wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses, is also appealing for people to donate new or hardly worn shoes which can be sold on the night.
