WRAL Anchor To Host Nonprofit Organization's Event RALEIGH, N.C. - Lori K. Lee, executive director of Me Fine Foundation, Inc. (www.mefinefoundation.org), has announced that Valonda Calloway, WRAL anchor, has been named Master of Ceremonies for the organization's 3rd Annual Purse Gala scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 21 from 2-5 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel located at 201 Harrison Oaks Blvd. in Cary. In addition to her position
at WRAL, Calloway serves as a member of the Me Fine Foundation board of advisors.
The Purse Gala will feature a live auction of unique, one-of-a-kind purses, including items donated by local celebrities and designers nationwide, and will also feature wine and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are $45 and may be purchased at www.mefinefoundation.org. All proceeds will benefit Me Fine Foundation and will provide assistance for children and families at Duke Children's Hospital and the North Carolina Children's Hospital at UNC.
