Former AMERICAN IDOL winner CARRIE UNDERWOOD has become only the second country artist in history to earn platinum ringtone status.
The singer's love-gone-bad hit Before He Cheats has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for one million purchased ringtones.
The first country tune to hit the million ringtones mark was Waylon Jennings' Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol' Boys).
Meanwhile, Before He Cheats has just been certified the best-selling digital country song in U.S. chart history.
