2013-08-27 17:29:43 - Antwerp, Belgium, 01/09/2013 - Peter Nees announces the launch of Uncle Stock, a new stock screener website. Uncle Stock targets stock value investors with an interactive website, applying state-of-the-art calculation methods.
Uncle Stock gives investors advice on stocks and helps them to find opportunities. On top of enabling investors to explore financial results and market valuation of publicly-traded companies, Uncle Stock calculates price targets and implements several profitable scoring systems, like Joël Greenblatt's Magic Formula, Joseph Piotroski's F-Score, James Derrick Slater, Benjamin Graham and Uncle Stock, with a combination of multiple investment strategies. Uncle Stock's calculation methods deal with uncertainty (fuzzy logic) and are resistant against extreme, negative and indeterminate values. The use of Uncle Stock is free of charge.
Uncle Stock is built in Java / Google Web Toolkit, and runs on Google AppEngine.
Peter Nees [Owner / Builder] says: "Uncle Stock is the result of several years of personal research and
development, of being focused to build the application I want to use myself."
