Umniah has once again given its support to youth and Jordan’s (men and women) in the 2ndWest Asian Championship, which was organized by the West Asian Federation in Amman.
The tournament took place in the Arena Stadium, where it included and for the very first time the women’s segment within its competition program. As part of Umniah’s Corporate Social Responsibilities, Umniah continues to give its unwavering support and encouragement to Jordan’s youth in taking up sports as a mean of recreation and pointing the Jordanian presence within the global and international events.
Umniah’s Director of Marketing Omar Al Omoush, said, “Since Umniah was established, sports and youth activities have been the core of itsCooperate Social Responsibilities strategy, noting that this axis will
significantly contribute to our efforts in assisting young athletes in local, regional and even global competitions.”
Al Omoush also pointed out, “Participating in such tournaments help develop a more competitive spirit in our youth and motivate them towards excellence and innovation.”
From his side, the President of the Jordan Karate Federation Moen Al Faori, said: “Endorsements from organizations like Umniah are the key elements contributing to the success of such tournaments. Umniah’s support for Jordan’s national teams helps boost exposure for such sports like Karate and gives the talented Jordanianyouth the attention they need and deserve.”
