In efforts to maintain its leading role in supporting Jordanians through all segments of society, Umniah has directed it’s community efforts to support adventure and challenge towards reaching national levels by providing a special platform to support local talents.
In accordance to this year’s cooperate social responsibilities’ initiatives, Umniah has signed a recentpartnership with MostafaSalameh, the famed Jordanian climber, highlighting the company’s social role and showing its strong support for Jordan’s adventure lovers, as its support for Mostafa came in line with its new “adventure” platform.
The partnership will include sponsoring and supporting future initiatives for MostafaSalameh including his next hike during this year. The initiative further compliments Umniah’s support for the King Hussein Cancer Center as well as patients battling
the debilitating disease.
The partnership with Mr. Salameh gives focus to Umniah’s CSR efforts through initiatives, partnerships and sponsorships for Jordanians talents in several sectors. Such contributions made by Umniah to Jordan’s society helps promote local talents and entrepreneurs on regional and global levels.
The CEO of Umniah, Ihab Hinnawi, commented on thispartnership saying, “Umniah’s partnership with MostafaSalamehreflects our eagerness to support and sponsor initiatives that revolve around our new adventure platform as well as boosts Jordan’s national identity.
It is worth mentioning that Umniah has recently completed its role in supporting the nationally acclaimed initiative ‘From the Lowest to the Highest Point’ which aims to support the health sector and cancer patients in particular.
From his side, the Jordanian Climber MostafaSalameh said: “The faith of few people is not a sign of failure;everyone should have a distant goal and always believe that it’s never impossible to accomplish it;and remember that every day is an adventure that’s worth a try. And I thank the telecom company Umniah to support me in my career to attain more achievements to this home”.
Beginning his career in the year 2004, MostafaSalamehis the first Jordanian climber to reach the world’s seven highest peaks after beginning with the North America’s summit of Denali. He later went on to climb the highest Arctic summit known as Venice; followed by the European summit of Elbrus; the African summit of Kilimanjaro; then the South American summit of Kajo; as well as Mount Everest and finally the Carstens summit in Australia.
