U.S.News Ranks UC Davis MBA Among Nation's Best for 14th Consecutive Year

The UC Davis Graduate School of Management has been ranked among the top 50 business schools in the nation by U.S.News & World Report, the 14 th consecutive year the magazine has included the UC Davis MBA program in its annual America’s Best Graduate Schools survey.

The magazine's latest business school rankings released today places the UC Davis MBA program among the top 25 business schools at public universities and 40th overall, up from 44th last year.

"We have always invested in the fundamentals—high-quality faculty, top students and a rich learning experience only a small school can provide,” said Nicole Woolsey Biggart, dean of the management school.

recognition."

The UC Davis Graduate School of Management has been ranked in the top 50 every year since 1996, and continues to be the youngest business school within a public institution ever ranked by the magazine. With 120 full-time students, UC Davis is the smallest MBA program ranked among the top 40.

The UC Davis MBA program also remains one of the country's most selective. Less than 25 percent of applicants to the Daytime MBA program are accepted — the 18th most competitive in the nation. UC Davis MBA students enter with an average Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score ranked among the top 35 schools.

The UC Davis Graduate School of Management’s most recent accolades also include.

- The Economist Intelligence Unit, a division of The Economist magazine group, in its latest rankings placed the UC Davis MBA program among the top 40 in North America and among the top 70 in the world in its global business school survey (2008).


- Beyond Grey Pinstripes 2007-2008: The Aspen Institute's Center for Business Education ranks the UC Davis MBA program among the top 30 in the world for integrating issues of social and environmental stewardship into curricula and research in its latest rankings.


- The Princeton Review: #7 in the U.S. with greatest opportunity for women. (2009).


- Forbes' “Best Business Schools”: UC Davis Working Professional MBA program ranks 16th among part-time MBA programs nationwide based on graduates' five-year return on investment, in Forbes' latest ratings (2005).


- The Wall Street Journal: Latest survey of corporate recruiters ranks the Graduate School of Management among the top 30 regional business schools in the nation and #6 worldwide for preparing graduates for the technology, Internet and telecom industries (2007).
