Veteran British comic actor FELIX BOWNESS has died, aged 87.
The performer, best known for his run as former jockey Fred Quilly in classic U.K. sitcom Hi-de-Hi, passed away at his home earlier this month (Sep09).
Starting out in 1960s comedy The

Benny Hill Show, Bowness quickly became the warm-up man for some of the U.K.'s most famous entertainers, including Morecambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies and Sir Terry Wogan.
He also appeared in several other TV comedies, including You Rang, M'Lord? and Oh, Doctor.
