TRIS3CT Expands Creative Leadership With Executive Appointments Paul Kuzma Named Chief Idea Officer; Chris Cancilla Promoted to Chief Creative Officer

CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/14/13 -- Chicago-based independent agency TRIS3CT ( : .. ) announced today an expansion of its creative leadership team. Chief Creative Officer Paul Kuzma will move to the new position of chief idea officer, and Executive Creative Director Chris Cancilla will be appointed to chief creative officer.

As CCO, Paul Kuzma directed the growth of Trisect from a fledgling Chicago boutique into one of the nation's largest independent agencies, now with over 140 employees. In his new role as chief idea officer, Kuzma will focus on brand invention and marketing innovation, areas in which he has recently directed several major initiatives for the agency's clients.

Kuzma stated, "Clients are now tapping the agency for branding, new product development and more upstream, marketing innovation. Inventive marketers need to move fast -- our expertise in rapid ideation plus integrated marketing allows us to accelerate their speed to market and results."

Chris Cancilla assumes leadership of a Trisect creative team that has grown to 45 staffers. In his short tenure at the agency, Cancilla has already developed several of the agency's signature campaigns, including recent launch work for Kawasaki's Ninja 300. He joined Trisect in 2011, following award-winning stints at several top Chicago shops including Arc and Y&R.
