AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 11/10/09 -- 360training.com has launched a new behavior based safety training : DVD program entitled "All for One: The Meerkat Way,"
which is based on the day-to-day life of one of the planet's smallest, most vulnerable creatures, the meerkat.

Behavioral based safety is based on a school of thought that utilizes the science of behavior and attitude as a tool to decrease accidents, injuries, and illnesses on the job.

BBS : , as it is also called, started in the '30s when a man named Herbert William Heinrich, an employee of Traveler's Insurance Company, studied thousands of accident reports and came to the conclusion that better than 85% of these accidents were a result of human error. Upon delving deeper into the issue, Heinrich found that the work environment, procedures, and attitudes of workers were at the root of the behavior driving the accident-prone behavior.

Produced and licensed by the Lattitude Group, footage was shot on location in the Kalahari Desert (Namibia, South Africa) by Simon King, the award-winning BBC cameraman who captured the hearts and minds of viewers with the hugely popular BBC Wildlife series, 'Big Cat's Diary.'

Carefully adapted to safety training, this stunning footage is brought into context by the vocal talents of Olivier Award Winner Toby Jones.

"All for One: The Meerkat Way" speaks to the root of the problem by using these principles in concert with an informative and entertaining glimpse into the life of the meerkat to train personnel and management in cooperativeness and attitude awareness and management.
