(Suwanee, GA) April 5, 2008 -- Make A Difference Foundation, Inc (MADF), www.madf.org, announces its Fourth Annual MADF and G. Wynn Invitational Charity Golf Tournament to be held on Saturday May 24 2008 at the Durham Lakes Golf and Country Club, 156 Durham Lakes Parkway, Fairburn Georgia. Proceeds from this event benefit the Charlotte Lemons Annual Student Scholarship (C.L.A.S.S.) Fund This year, MADF proudly celebrates five successful years of providing opportunity and service to our youth. MADF strongly believes that providing financial assistance for education is a great way to truly make a difference in our communities. Through the Charlotte Lemons Annual Scholarship (C.L.A.S.S.) fund, MADF awards $1000 educational scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Georgia and Florida. This
scholarship is intended to give students in need of financial assistance the opportunity to further their education at a two-year or four-year college or technical institution. Since 2004, MADF has awarded thirteen (13) C.L.A.S.S. Awards. 'By helping make others' dreams become a reality, this makes us a better person, community, state and nation', explained Donovan R. Quary Sr., chairman and founder of MADF.
The tournament will feature a continental breakfast, buffet lunch, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, raffle prizes, silent auction, and numerous hole in one contests. This year's main hole in one prize is a 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLS provided by Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta. Registration begins at 7:30am with an 8:00am shotgun start. Entry fees are $90 per person or $360 per foursome before May 9th; corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available. 'Each year we aggressively set new goals in order to fulfill our mission and enhance our community involvement, states Donovan- this tournament plays a key role in whether or not we're able to reach those goals'.
