MONACO (AP) - Fabian Cancellara of Switzerland was wearing the race leader's yellow jersey as the 180 riders set off for the second stage of the Tour de France.
Seven-time winner Lance Armstrong, pre-race favorite Alberto Contador and other possible title contenders are likely to ride easy in the 187-kilometer (116.2-mile) stage from Monaco to Brignoles.
The stage features four minor climbs and is likely to favor breakaway riders or sprinters for the finish after the ride Sunday along the sun-baked hills of France's Mediterranean coast.

Cancellara won Saturday's opening time trial. Contador _ the 2007 Tour champion _ is second, 18 seconds behind _ and Armstrong is 10th, 40 seconds behind the leader.
The Tour ends July 26 in Paris.
