- Time Warner Cable today announced that Matthew Siegel has been named Senior Vice President and Treasurer. He will report to Rob Marcus, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Siegel will be accountable for the leadership and direction of all Time Warner Cable treasury functions, including banking relationships, capital markets activities, financial analysis, capital structure oversight and cash

management.

"Matt's intimate knowledge of the company, his expertise in numerous treasury functions and his varied and impressive professional and educational background make him the natural choice to lead our treasury activities," said Marcus. "We are extremely pleased that he has agreed to join Time Warner Cable and know he will make immediate, significant contributions to our company."

Siegel joins Time Warner Cable from Time Warner Inc., where he was Vice President and Assistant Treasurer. Before joining Time Warner Inc. in 2001, he was Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Insight Communications, a multi-system cable operator based in New York with operations in the Midwest. Previously, he worked for nine years at Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, Inc., the spirits and entertainment company where, as Assistant Treasurer, he was responsible for corporate finance, capital markets and domestic operations.

Siegel graduated from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and earned his M.B.A. from University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. He lives in Westport, CT, with his wife, Wendy, and two children.
