The intensive development work for modernizing the digital banking services of
the Aktia Group has reached one of its goals as the bank launched its new web
portal. As a result of the development process progressing gradually for 18
months, the bank's customers now have a more user-friendly transaction channel.
With the upgrade, Aktia's banking and insurance services are flexibly provided
to customers.
Today, banking transactions are mainly performed online, so the updated service
has a significant role as a sales channel for both current and future services.
Moreover, it will be a smooth channel for customer communication and promote
online interaction between the bank and the customers. The development of
Aktia's web services is based on Tieto's eBanking Suite solution which
offers
tools, for example, for implementing internet and mobile services alongside the
current basic banking services.

customers through the new online service. The newly launched online service is
the first phase of our joint development project and we believe it will improve
