2013-10-10 08:03:46 - Based on over six years worth of games, three college football teams are in position to go over the Las Vegas betting total this week
The sports handicapping website Vegas Experts has found that three college football teams that have seen at least two-thirds of their road games go over the Las Vegas betting total since 2007 are in position to improve those numbers this Saturday.
Each of the games will involve conference rivals, and all three contests will take place during the afternoon hours, separated by two-hour intervals.
The first game involves a pair of teams from the Big Ten Conference, as the Indiana Hoosiers will travel to face the Wisconsin Badgers. Indiana has seen 21 of its 31 road games since 2007 go above the listed number, and will have to better the 52.5 number posted by oddsmakers.
Game two will pit a pair of teams
from the Mid American Conference when the Central Michigan Chippewas go on the road to battle the Ohio Bobcats. In the more than six years this research covers, Central Michigan has gone over in its road games an average of two out of every three games, compiling a 30-15 mark in favor of the over during this time, and will also have to better the total of 52.5.
The final matchup will have a pair of teams from Conference USA as the Rice Owls take on the UTSA Roadrunners in the second of three straight road games. Rice has managed to go over in 25 of the 36 away games dating back to 2007. The Owls have the largest of the three totals at 55.
