2009-11-10 11:23:44 - The Doctor’s latest companion Lindsay Duncan tells TV Choice about the terrifying ordeal in store for the Time Lord in the next Doctor Who special.

The year is 2059 and the Doctor (David Tennant) battles aliens that attack a space station on Mars. ‘It’s a very dark episode and the creatures look absolutely terrifying. I just hope they’re not too frightening for children,’ says Lindsay, who plays Adelaide, head of the base.

Last year’s Children In Need raised more than £20 million for charity, and

this year’s star-studded line-up, including Cheryl Cole, Westlife, Annie Lennox, and the EastEnders cast, will be hoping to top that.
Meanwhile, Ant and Dec head back Down Under as another group of celebrities face the worst that the jungle can throw at them in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Last year’s Jungle King Joe Swash reveals what they can expect to face.

Also, Kate Garraway reveals why she’s dreading returning to the GMTV sofa following her maternity leave. Hollywood star Helena Bonham Carter plays multi-million selling children’s author Enid Blyton in a one-off BBC drama and Kevin Sacre talks about returning to Hollyoaks as the troubled Jake Dean.

In the soaps, Coronation Street’s Tony plots a deadly revenge on Roy for exposing him as Liam’s killer, while Ricky confronts Sam about her affair with Jack in EastEnders. In Emmerdale, gold digger Charity discovers where Cain is stashing his loot and seduces him, and Cherry’s life is in danger when she helps the police in a drugs operation in Doctors. Little Tom gets drunk when Darren is distracted in Hollyoaks. Elle needs cash and decides to sell Harold’s in Neighbours, while Angelo tells Charlie he’s investigating a people-smuggling ring in Home And Away.

There are also five Butlins family breaks to be won in this week’s competition.
