2014-03-12 11:47:56 - The surgical contra-angle handpieces WS-91 and WS-91 L G from W&H can now be used to separate displaced teeth at any point – even well towards the apex behind the maxillary molars. The extended angle between shank and burr axis enables comfortable access either buccally or occlusually. The Austrian innovator thus combines the features of conventional straight and contra-angle handpieces in a truly unique manner.
At the same time, the ergonomic design of the head area ensures excellent vision. In the WS-91 L G, a mini LED+ illuminates the operating area with daylight quality. What's more, the new contra-angle handpieces are real powerhouses: their speed of up to 135,000 revolutions per minute and their high torque enable highly efficient tooth separation. An external triple spray cools both the burr and the operating area with a sterile saline solution. As with all transmission instruments from W&H, the surface of the WS-91/WS-91 L G is scratch-resistant and therefore easy to clean. They can be easily disassembled without tools.
