Publicists have confirmed that Chace Crawford from Gossip Girl and Country Crooner Carrie Underwood are over. The romance lasted for about nine months, but then came to a screeching (?) halt last week. Or maybe it’s been in the works quietly.

Rumors have been flying fast and furious about Chace’s sexuality. Whether it’s because of his great looks or nature,

many sources speculate that he likes to hang with the guys.

Enter Carrie Underwood, American Idol alum and country music sweetheart. They hook up and speculation dies about the gayness. Until the last few weeks. Chace has been spotted on many occasions with JC Chavez. That’s not a big deal, until you factor in JC has been very open about his gayness (haha - he claims he is not gay either).

JC and Chace have been pictured together several times during the last two months, sans Carrie. Did Carrie finally have enough? Did Chace put the can on the fake relationship? Is he coming out of the closet? JC issued a statement saying he isn’t after Chace. And that he isn't gay.

So, if Chace is straight, and JC is straight, why did JC feel the need to issue a statement to the press? Whatever preference he has, Chace probably won’t be single long. Carrie won’t remain on the market long, either.
