2010-03-18 16:02:00 - "Hip-Hop Immortal" will welcome some of the hottest artists and many familiar faces from Hollywood at "The Pink Elephant" in NYC on April 6, 2010. "Private-Invitation Only!"

The National Museum of Hip-Hop in collaboration with Power 105.1 FM and AllHipHop.com invite Hip-Hop’s hottest stars, both old school and new, with many familiar faces from Hollywood to Hip-Hop Immortal, co-hosted by Chuck D and KRS One. This is the museums first major event which will raise awareness for the construction of the world’s first hip-hop museum and for the implementation of its community programs.

The National Museum of Hip-Hop VIP event will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, from 7pm – 11pm at the Pink Elephant, located at 527 West 27th St, NYC. This VIP event is not open to the public. There will not be a Red Carpet. All interviews will take place in an exclusive press

area.

NMoH “Hip-Hop Immortal” event will honor the Pioneers of the four elements of Hip-Hop: Rap, B-Boying, Graffiti, and DJing. The programming includes: VIP Reception, Live and Video Presentations, Special keynote Speakers and DJ performances.

Invited guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails and music by Grandmaster Flash, DJ Red Alert & DJ Chuck Chillout.

Guests include: Entertainment Executives, Celebrity and Pioneer Rappers, DJ’s, B-Boys, Graffiti Artists, Hollywood Entertainers and Community Leaders.

ABOUT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF HIP-HOP
The National Museum of Hip-Hop (NMoH) is a NYC based non-profit 501 (c) (3) founded in 2005 and created to commemorate the historical and cultural achievements of hip-hop and artists, throughout the World, while educating area residents and global visitors about every aspect of the culture’s elements. NMoH has announced the “Hall of Hip-Hop,” a yearly ceremony which will induct legendary icons into the Hall of Hip-Hop. This will be a televised ceremony, unlike any other existing award show, created to both induct and honor the greatness of artists from all elements of hip-hop - Graffiti, DJing, B-Boying and Rap, as well as the producers, mixers, engineers, fashion designers, film makers and other outside components that help make up hip-hop culture, in its entirety.
