What is the Long Night of Music?
Once a year, hundreds of concerts are on offer at over 100 venues spread throughout the entire city starting at 8 pm and lasting until 3 am. Not just the large concert houses take part; small music stages, bars and even churches also open their doors to the public. But they all have one thing in common: the music is played live. We've put together the program, now you have the choice. And it won't be an easy one with all that's on offer: Rock and Pop, Classical and Sacred, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Soul, Swing, Reggae, Hits, Singers/Songwriters, Folk and everything in between. Many Munich bands will be up on stage but also a
host of national and international guests. Munich Transit MVG Shuttle Buses link up the venues. For further information: www.muenchner.de/musiknacht
Tickets cost 15 € and are valid for entrance to all participating venues as well as for travel on MVG Shuttle Buses (but not on regular public transit services). The “Kombiticket” comes as a bracelet worn on the attendee's wrist on the evening of the event.
