The Global Sourcing Forum + Expo : , the premier industry event focusing on sourcing, today announced two roundtables that take an in-depth look at issues facing CIOs, CFOs and COOs in today’s global business environment during its conference on November 11 – 12, 2009 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Managing More with Less – Priorities and Initiatives Driving Today’s CIO Agenda : examines how complicated the CIO-decision making process regarding sourcing has become, especially given pressures from the economic downturn and increased involvement from government and regulatory bodies. Smart CIOs are balancing priorities and pushing initiatives that afford them access to people and technology at lower costs and also allow expanded

activities in the global market. Gerard Insall, CIO of Avis Budget Group Inc. leads this discussion that will feature Dr. Scott Mason, Head of IT Global Governance & Operations at Novartis; PK Agarwal, CTO of the State of California; Mike Giresi, CIO of Godiva Chocolatier; John McCarthy, Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research; and Dr. Sasi Kumar Pillay, CIO at the NASA Glenn Research Center.

The CFO/COO Roundtable, Re-Calibrating Global Sourcing: Strategies for the Post-Recession World : , will examine how the current economic climate is affecting global sourcing, including how ITO and BPO strategies are evolving to align with business drivers and financial priorities. Tom Hoffman, former editor at large for ComputerWorld, will moderate the discussion featuring Carl Lavin, Managing Editor at Forbes; Marjorie Thomas, Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller at Sony Electronics North America; Peter Miscovich, Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle; and Rich Lagani, COO of Chartis Insurance.
