The classic tale of stingy Scrooge is given a new spin in this rendition that tastefully merges old European Carols performed by a large cast, and underscoring Charles Dickens' views on the rich and the poor in Victorian England.

The Relevant Stage, downtown San Pedro’s resident theatre company, brings Charles Dickens’ holiday classic alive once more at the Warner Grand Theatre with performances on December 22, 23, 26, and January 2 at 8pm as well as three matinee performances at 2:30pm on December 24, 27, and January 3. Performances will be at the historic 1931 Art Deco treasure, Warner Grand Theatre at 478 West 6th Street, San Pedro, CA 90731. There is plenty of free parking.

The Christmas Carol’s classic story, with Ebenezer Scrooge, the
Cratchits and the Ghosts, combined with a host of Christmas Carolers spreading songs of holiday cheer make one unforgettable family event.
Look for a special cast appearance at the San Pedro Christmas Parade on Sunday December 6th, as well as the Port of Los Angeles fountain festivities on Friday at 7:30pm, December 4th. There will be opportunities for free tickets at both events, so don’t miss out!
Adapted by producing artistic director Ray Buffer and directed by Shaina Zalma with musical arrangements by Robert Gross, The Christmas Carol is guaranteed to spread the joy of Christmas and the holidays throughout the San Pedro area. Ticket prices are $20 regular admission, $15 for seniors (55+), and $5 for 18 and under. A $40 dinner package at Whale and Ale, Ports O' Call, 6th Street Bistro and 7th Street Chophouse as well as a $25 wine tasting package at Off the Vine are also available.
